Before a payment gateway like Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU or PhonePe activates your account, their team reviews your website. Missing pages are the most common reason applications are put on hold. Here's what they look for.
Policy pages, linked in your footer
- Terms & Conditions: how you do business, payment terms and which courts have jurisdiction.
- Privacy Policy: what customer data you collect and how you protect it.
- Refund & Cancellation Policy: when customers can cancel, what's refundable and how long refunds take.
- Shipping or Delivery Policy: how and when customers receive what they paid for. Service businesses need this too.
Clear products or prices
The reviewer needs to understand what a customer is paying for. A pricing page, product listings, or clearly described packages with prices are usually required. A site with only “contact us for a quote” is often rejected.
Complete contact details
Show your full business address, phone number and email on a contact page. The business name on your website should match the name on your bank account and KYC documents exactly.
A finished, secure website
Your site must use HTTPS, and it shouldn't have “coming soon” sections, placeholder text or broken links. Reviewers see these as signs the business isn't active yet.
We build and update websites to meet these requirements. Talk to us if your application has been put on hold.
